Christopher Magee, MD, is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and anthroscopic surgery. He is an orthopaedic surgeon with Adventist Medical Group. Dr. Magee received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia with academic honors. His general surgery internship and residency were completed at Dartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire. Continuing his training, Dr. Magee served an orthopedic surgery residency at the New York Orthopaedic Hospital of Columbia University followed by a fellowship in arthroscopicsurgery.
Dr. Magee served as chief medical officer, board member and chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Washington Adventist Hospital. He also worked as a medical staff educator, providing staff leadership and developing peer review processes for better administrative effectiveness and improved patient care.
Throughout his career, he has regularly been recognized by his peers as a Washingtonian Top Doctor. While much of his practice has focused on the treatment of knee and shoulder problems and knee and hip replacement, his broad range of skills and knowledge assures that his patients will receive state-of-the-art joint and extremity care to return them to their daily and sports activities as quickly and as safely as possible.
